By Daniel Rosen Jacobson, 24 December 2024

As 2024 comes to an end, we’re reflecting on a year of progress. Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished in service of our mission to advance the transition to sustainable aviation.Key Highlights:
  • Launched Elysian to the public, securing buy-in from the industry and generating 650M+ media impressions.
  • Filed 6 patents and completed 13 research projects, with no technical barriers identified for the E9X aircraft.
  • Worked with 50 research partners, including TU Delft, DLR, NLR, and Fokker Services Group.
  • Expanded our advisory and supervisory boards with seasoned leaders and 3x’d our team size to propel our next phase of growth.
  • Participated in New York Climate Week, challenging traditional thinking on transportation and aviation’s path to net-zero emissions.
  • Successfully closed $10M in funding.
  • Initiated the second design iteration of the E9X aircraft, with an improved design reveal planned for mid-2025.
Thank you to our partners, collaborators, and team for making 2024 a success.Together, we’ll continue shaping the future of aviation in 2025 and beyond.
